PuppyUp (previously 2 Million Dogs) is a nonprofit organization committed to discovering the links between canine and human cancers through comparative oncology research. It began with a promise to raise awareness about canine cancer one mile, one city, and one person at a time. Check out their website to read about Luke Robinson's story, the promise he made to his Great Pyreness Malcolm who died of cancer, and the 2,000 mile journey he made from Austin to Boston with his other two animal companions. While you're there, see how you can become involved with PuppyUp through cancer education and awareness, organizing or participating in a puppyup! walk in your area, or donating towards research.
